FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I have to be a Christian to come to Soul Tour?
You don’t have to be a Christian to come along to Soul Tour. However, you should be aware that it has a strong Christian base underpinning everything we teach. If you are alright with that, you are very welcome to attend.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
We’ll provide you with a workbook to write in so just bring a pen or two and a highlighter.
Is food provided at Soul Tour?
We will provide morning and afternoon tea but lunch and dinner will be your responsibility. You can either buy meals during the course or bring your own, as most course venues have a kitchen where food can be stored and heated.
How do students handle sitting still for so long??
It’s true - the days at Soul Tour are very long! However, the time always flies by because the sessions are so interesting with lots of discussion, laughter, life-changing teaching and real-life stories. We also take breaks when we see students are needing to recalibrate.
Is accommodation provided for any of the Soul Tour courses?
No, participants are responsible for sourcing their own accommodation during all Soul Tour courses. If the course you’re attending is in a different town/city to the one you live in, you’ll need to find somewhere to stay.
What if I have to miss a session (or several) because of a commitment I can’t cancel?
You won’t want to miss ANY of the sessions if you can help it. However, we know that sometimes this is unavoidable. If you do have to miss a session it will be your responsibility to make sure you catch up from other students (bribing them with coffee or chocolate usually helps).
Wait, so there’s two different types of Soul Tour?
That’s right, Soul Tour operates in two formats:
-
A six day full course which covers more than sixty topics
-
A shorter course called ‘Soul Tour Intro’ which covers twelve topics. Soul Tour Intro usually takes place over a weekend.
Do I get a full refund if a course is cancelled?
If a Soul Tour course is cancelled, we will refund your fees to you in full within 7 working days. However, if for any reason you decide to pull out of a course, your $50 deposit will be kept as credit towards a future Soul Tour course. In this regard, the $50 deposit is non-refundable.
The course I want to do is full. What should I do?
The number of participants on Soul Tour courses are limited to ensure maximum impact. If the course you want to do has already reached capacity, you can either find another course to attend, or contact us and ask to be put on the waiting list for the one you want.
